In 2016 we developed the device for monitoring objects in 2 km radius.
The project goal was to create a simple and convenient tool for aerial reconnaissance. We developed personal “aerial binoculars” that doesn’t require training and complicated working conditions. We created a kit that consists of mini-UAV and simplified remote controller that has the following advantages.
1. Weather condition independence. Both devices are protected from dust and moisture and can work in rain or snow.
2. Increased impact resistance. UAV is created using specific material that allows it to withstand falls.
3. Simplicity. We designed a simplified remote controller specifically for this task. It doesn’t require any training. The controller has integrated screen that translates video from UAV in real time. The controller could also be used for autonomous missions.
4. Portability. Our devices are very compact for transportation convenience.
The whole system (electronics, mechanics, and software) was designed and developed by Tsuru Robotics.
